Tomorrow we leave for our return journey to the US, so we spent the day really enjoying the pool and table tennis and just being away from home. The final washing was done and dried so things could be packed tomorrow and then we went out for dinner to my favourite fish and chips place, Cessac.
I wore some of the new clothes and shoes I bought while here, so felt good about they way I looked, and had a good, filling dinner of cod and chips. An student of mine who is english reminded me of drink called Shandy, a mixture of lager and sprite, so I ordered that to drink.
On our way home we past a sign for an art show my mother had seen advertised in the local paper, so we decided to go and see it - more educational stuff for the boys. Some art was good and some not!
I regretted wearing my new shoes by the end of the evening because with the heat and humidity by the shore and the food and drink, my feet had swollen a bit! I was glad to take them off when we got home.
